Help for institutions using SKOOLES, and for students, parents and staff.
Start with your school
If you are a student, parent, teacher or member of staff, contact your school administrator first. Your institution controls your account, your records and your permissions, and can resolve most issues immediately: resetting access, correcting a record, changing what you can see, or closing an account. We cannot change data inside an institution’s tenant without its instruction.

Frequently asked questions
Does SKOOLES work without an internet connection?
Yes, and this is the point of the design. SkooHub and SkooBook keep a synchronised local database on the device, so agendas, course material, attendance and bus trips keep working offline. Changes are queued and upload when the connection returns. The app always shows how fresh its data is instead of silently displaying stale information.
Is SKOOLES available in Arabic?
Yes. Arabic, English and many other languages are supported throughout, with proper right-to-left layout, and users can switch language at any time including before signing in. There is also on-demand translation for content that has not been translated.
Can one school see another school’s data?
No. Each institution is a separate tenant and isolation is enforced in the data layer of the application framework. It also applies to mobile synchronization, because the token issued to a device makes sure that the data served is the only data streams that token authorizes.
Who owns the data we put into SKOOLES?
Your institution does, at all times. We process it on your instructions as set out in our Data Processing Agreement. You can export it, and on termination you have 30 days to do so before we delete it.
Do you use student data to train AI models?
No. We do not sell student data, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not use it to train third-party AI models. Content sent to a translation or AI feature is processed to return the result and is not retained for model training.
Can SKOOLES be hosted on our own servers?
Core components can be deployed on infrastructure you control. If you have data residency requirements, raise them before deployment and we will tell you honestly which parts can be hosted where.
How do we get a signed DPA?
Email [email protected]. We can countersign our standard DPA or work from your institution’s template.
Contact support
Include your institution name and, if you are reporting a problem, what you were doing when it happened and on which app. Issues affecting a whole school are escalated first.
